Description

Acquaintance with Odessa, a legendary city that is considered to be "The Pearl of the Black Sea". You will have the opportunity to go up and down the Potemkin Stairs, to visit the palaces of the city (the Vorontsov Palace, the Houses of Gagarin, Pototsky and Tolstoy), to attend the museums of Odessa, to walk around in Bilhorod - Dnistrovskyi, one of the most ancient towns in the world, as well as to explore a castle of the XIII century, an old market of Odessa and a plenty of other beautiful sights.     Odessa

    Reception at Odessa airport.

    Transfer to a hotel. Installation in the rooms.

    Visit Odessa with a professional guide to discover this seaside city with a mythological name referring to Ulysses (Odysseos in Greek). An exciting city with ancient origins that experienced centuries of multiple invasions before flourishing at the end of the 18th century, thanks to Catherine II of Russia. Then Odessa developed mainly thanks to Admiral Neapolitan José de Ribas and the French Armand Emmanuel du Plessis, Duke of Richelieu, and Governor of Odessa.

    You will admire the Potemkin staircase, one of the most famous monuments in the world thanks to Sergii Eisenstein's film "The battleship Potiomkin". A famous site related to an event of the 1905 revolution: the uprising of workers supported by the crew of the battleship Potiomkin.

    Visit to the Museum of Arts (Earl Pototskyi's Palace).

    Dinner in the city in the Prymorskyi restaurant.

    Visit to the Museum of Archeology is for sure the most interesting as it possesses a very beautiful collection of pieces of ancient settlement of the first civilisations of the Black sea region, in particular - the decorations and ancient coins.

    Departure for Bilhorod - Dnistrovskyi. Visit the city on the right bank of the Dniester river estuary, a city built in the 5th century by the Greeks, which is one of the oldest cities in the world, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

    Visit of the 13th century castle.

    Lunch at a restaurant.

    Back to Odessa. Free time in the city centre (Odessa Opera district, walk on the waterfront, enjoy the gardens...)
